Primary cells and secondary cells are fundamental to animal cell culture. Primary cells are obtained directly from animal tissues retain the phenotypic traits of their #tissue source. Have a restricted lifespan when cultured. On the hand secondary #cells are obtained from cultures through subculturing and display modified characteristics compared to the original primary cells.
