Every gemstone is thought to be able to absorb the cosmic energies of the planet with which it is related, giving the wearer particular advantages including prosperity, health, protection, and spiritual development. Traditionally, the Navaratnas are worn in unison to counteract the effects of planets and enhance general wellbeing.
