The men's soccer match-up for the 2024 Paris Olympics has been confirmed. If Korea makes it to the finals, it will be able to avoid strong players such as ‘host country’ France and ‘winner candidate’ Argentina.

The Paris Olympic Organizing Committee held the 2024 Paris Olympic men's soccer group draw in Saint-Denis, France on the 21st (Korean time).

As a result of the draw, Group A included the host country France, as well as the United States, New Zealand, and the winners of the Asia-Africa playoffs. Group B included Argentina, Morocco, Ukraine, and Asian Football Confederation (AFC) teams, which are considered favorites for the championship.

Group C includes Spain, Egypt, the Dominican Republic and the AFC team, and Group D includes Paraguay, Mali, Israel and the AFC team.

Only AFC member countries have not yet decided which teams will advance to the Olympics. AFC plans to hold the AFC Under-23 Asian Cup, which will be held from April 15 to May 3, in conjunction with the Olympic qualifiers, and grant the right to advance to the finals to the third-place team. The fourth-place team will advance to the finals by playing a playoff against Guinea in Africa.

If Korea passes the preliminary round, it will enter Group C or D, avoiding strong teams such as France and Argentina.

According to the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA), teams from Asian countries that made it to the finals are ranked based on their performance at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. According to FIFA standards, the first place in AFC is placed in Group D, and the second place in AFC is placed in Group C. Third place goes into Group B. At the Tokyo Olympics, the host country, Japan, had the best performance by advancing to the semifinals, while Korea followed suit by advancing to the quarterfinals. Australia (1 win, 2 losses) and Saudi Arabia (3 losses), who also participated, were eliminated in the group stage. If Korea succeeds in advancing to the finals along with Japan, Korea will enter Group C. On the other hand, if Japan is eliminated and Korea advances to the finals, Korea will be placed in Group D. However, if Korea finishes in 4th place and goes through the playoffs to advance to the finals, it will enter Group A regardless of the results of the Tokyo Olympics. In the Olympic qualifiers, Korea will begin its first Group B match against the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on April 17th, then face China on April 19th and Japan on April 22nd.  고스톱사이트
