Why need to Undo Bank Reconciliation
Incorrect date: The payment was recorded for an incorrect date.
Un cleared transaction: All transactions must be properly verified and also all the future checks must be cleared.
Incorrect bank reconciliation: Proper scrutiny must be made to ensure that there is no forced reconciliation in the bank statements.
Incorrect bank statement: The bank statement date is incorrect or not a valid date.
How to UNDO a Reconciliation?
First step, you have to click on the Gear icon.
Next click on "Reconcile" under tools.
Choose the bank account that you need to "Undo Reconciliation".
Hover your mouse to the reconciliation month.
By this time, you'll surely observe UNDO button the right of the auto change column.
Simply click on the UNDO button.
Click OK on the message displayed.
Followed by Success message.
Click on OK button.
How to Delete a Reconciliation?
Go to Banking in the left menu.
Select Banking on the top.
Select the Account at the top.
Above the Action column select Go to Register/Account History.
Find the transaction that you require to reconcile only one at a time.
Highlight tab on the transaction.
Hit on the R which is on the top line of the transaction which is located between the Amount and Deposit or charge and payment amount.
By selecting this field will allow user to change the status of the transaction to the desired status from Blank=unreconciled to C=Cleared.
Click on Save.
Click Yes on the pop-up.
