Hyundai Motor Chairman Chung Eui-sun to present award for archery at Asian Games

Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun watches the match between the Republic of Korea and Indonesia during the men's team archery recurve quarterfinal

at the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games at the Fuyang Throat Sports Center Archery Range on Saturday in Hangzhou, China. The archery recurve men's team of Oh Jin-hyuk, Lee Woo-seok and Kim Jeduk defeated Indonesia 6-0 set-core in the semifinals earlier in the day to advance to the final. 

Hyundai Motor Group Chairman Chung Eui-sun, who also serves as the president of the Korean Archery Association, visited the archery center of the Hangzhou 2022 Asian Games to cheer on the Korean archery team.

On Oct. 6, Chung visited the archery range at the Fuyang Throat Sports Center in Hangzhou, China, and sat in a VIP seat to watch the men's recurve team competition.

At the end of the recurve men's team competition, Mr. Zheng will present medals to the winning athletes.

According to the official, Chung will also visit the archery center on Sunday, when the men's and women's recurve and compound individual competitions will be held.

This is not the first time Chung has visited an Asian Games archery event. At the 2018 Jakarta-Palembang Games, he also traveled to Indonesia to encourage the Taeguk archers.

Hyundai Motor Group has been sponsoring archery for 38 years. Chairman Emeritus Chung Mong-koo took over as president of the Korean Archery Federation in 1985, and Chairman Chung has been supporting the sport since 2005. 19가이드03
