"Kim Min-jae hopes to stay at Munich despite reduced playing time" German media dismisses Kim Min-jae transfer speculation

German media has dismissed the transfer speculation of Kim Min-Jae (28, Munich).

There have been reports that Inter Milan, Manchester United, and other clubs are interested in the player, who has seen his playing time decrease recently. However, the player himself is not too concerned about the transfer speculation.

As Bavarian FootballWorks reports, "Kim Min-Jae wants to stay at Munich despite his recent decrease in playing time. He is willing to stay at Munich and compete for the starting center back position," Bavarian Footballworks reported.

Recently pushed aside as a candidate, Kim has had one starting opportunity in the last six days, but hasn't capitalized on it. On March 6, he was left out of the starting lineup for the 3-0 win over SS Lazio in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 second leg.

In the Bundesliga match against Mainz (8-1) on March 9, he was substituted for Dyer in the 30th minute of the second half and got a chance to play. On March 16, Kim was again on the bench for the Bundesliga Round 26 match against Darmstadt (5-2 win).

It was a significant change in status compared to the beginning of the season when he was a regular starter. Kim joined the South Korean national team under interim coach Hwang Sun-hong, playing two A matches in March before returning to Munich on the 27th.

Tuchel's mind hadn't changed. Even in the Bundesliga match against Dortmund on March 31 (0-2 loss), Kim did not see the field as he remained on the bench.

On the competition for the starting spot, Kim said, "I'm showing quality in training. I hope you don't worry too much," he reassured fans.

Unlike Kim, his partner Dayo Upamecano has requested a transfer to Munich. Upamecano told Tuchel that he would like to change teams if they don't guarantee him a starting spot.

Kim Min-jae, on the other hand, wants to stay in Munich and continue to compete for a starting spot.
