'Shuttlecock queen' Ahn Se-young, 21, who has been focusing on rehabilitation after the Hangzhou Asian Games, will return to the international stage in two weeks.

"I'm focusing on rehabilitation and taking time to recharge and prepare for the next competition," Ahn said on Tuesday at an event to encourage the Asian Games athletes held by the Korea Olympic Committee at Lotte Hotel in Songpa-gu, Seoul. "I expect the road ahead to be very difficult, so I'm preparing with the idea of taking a tempo break rather than rushing," she said. Ahn suffered a torn tendon in her knee during the women's singles final at the Asian Games and was diagnosed with an injury that would require four to five weeks of treatment and rehabilitation.

"I'm going to start competing in a tournament in Japan in mid-November," Ahn said, "and I'm going to play some more international tournaments before the year is over." The World Badminton Federation (BWF) Masters will be held in Kumamoto, Japan, starting on November 14. "I'm getting stronger and better as I rehabilitate," Ahn said of her injured knee, adding, "I'm still at about 50 to 60 percent of my normal strength, but I'll get it up to 100 percent in time for the tournament."

Ahn, who won two gold medals at the Asian Games, was inundated with requests for broadcast and commercial appearances after returning home, saying, "I'm just a normal athlete. Right now, I want to fully heal, rest and stabilize. Please wait a little longer so that I can stand on the court again with a stronger appearance," she wrote on social media.

On the same day, Ahn continued, "I've been running very hard, but all I can think about is doing my best every day for the Olympics. I will prepare for the Olympics in a better way." When asked, "If you win a gold medal at the Paris Olympics next year, will you be on the broadcast?" Ahn said, "If many people want me, I will do it when I can afford it, but it's just an 'if,' so I will focus on one day at a time.

Ahn received the Fighting Spirit Award and a cash prize of 20 million won at the Asian Games Team Encouragement Ceremony. 카지노사이트
